Middlefield Collegiate Institute is a community of future-oriented, self-disciplined, life-long learners, dedicated to the pursuit of excellence. We are committed to providing a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment through the understanding and appreciation of each other’s cultures, ideas, opinions and work. Programs Offered
Middlefield C.I. offers a wide range of curricular and co-curricular programs in academics, athletics and the arts. We offer academic, applied, open and locally developed courses in Grades 9 and 10 and University, College, Workplace and Open destination courses in Grades 11 and 12. The following are some of the programs offered at Middlefield C.I.:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
- Ontario Secondary School Certificate (OSSC)
- Support for English Language Learners (ELL)
- Special Education Support Services and Community Programs (MID, DD, Autism)
- Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs in Transportation, Health and Wellness, and Information and Communication Technology.

Middlefield C.I. was officially opened in 1992, with additions to the building completed in 2006.
